Put the date on your calendar, and make plans to join us for the SECOND annual Central Arkansas Hamfest and Swap Meet in Perryville, Arkansas on Saturday, September 26, 2026. We are excited to partner with the Perry County Amateur Radio Club to put on this event.
We will have hourly drawings for door prizes, including a Yaesu FTX-1 Field and other prizes (see below).
If you’re looking to buy or sell, we will have two options for you at this event! We will have an indoor, air conditioned flea market setup, and outside tailgating area. Plus, we will have plenty of free parking!
The Perry County Amateur Radio Club will be operating a concession stand featuring coffee, drinks, and light food.
NOTE: The Big Dam Bridge 100 bicycle ride is also happening Sep 26. Riders will be leaving North Little Rock around 7:00 am and travelling west on Ark. Highway 10 and Highway 9 towards Perryville. If you’re coming from Little Rock or Hot Springs, we recommend taking an alternate route to avoid congestion along highways 9 and 10.
Door Prizes
We know that hams love door prizes. We will have drawings every hour beginning at 9:00, with the drawing for the 2026 Grand Prize – a Yaesu FTX-1 Field all band and all mode radio – at 1:00. Don’t miss a single hour.
The FTX-1 Field is the perfect radio for Parks on the Air and for Summits on the Air or for any portable HF operation. Running 6 watts with the included battery or 10 wats with an external DC power supply, it has more than enough power for a successful activation. You get all HF bands as well as 2m and 70cm bands PLUS Yaesu System Fusion/C4FM.
We will also be giving away a Yaesu FTM-310 dual band mobile digital VHF/UHF transceiver. Featuring C4FM and AESS, this will make a great addition to your shack or mobile install.

Two Ways to Sell!
Indoor Flea Market Space
Spaces are available for a $10 donation and are available for online reservation. There will be a total of 35 tables in the indoor flea market area. You will receive one 8′ table space (table included), along with one admission and one door prize drawing ticket.
Outdoor Swap Meet
We will have approximately 20 reserved parking areas in the outdoor free swap meet area. These spaces will be 20′ deep and 15′ wide, located along the fence on the eastern edge of the fairgrounds area. We are accepting reservations online for these free spaces now.
About Perryville, Arkansas
Perryville is the county seat of Perry County, Arkansas. It is conveniently located in Central Arkansas, minutes away from Little Rock, Conway, Russellville and Morrilton. Perryville offers many amenities, including multiple gas stations, grocery stores and wonderful local restaurants.
The Perry County Fairgrounds is located near downtown Perryville, less than a mile from Arkansas highways 9 and 10. Look for signs that will lead you to the hamfest. Turn west on to Arkansas highway 60, which is Aplin Street in Perryville. The Fairgrounds will be on the left.
